Cats are complicated animals. Do they love us? Loathe us? Need us? Do they even want us to stick around? We never seem to know for sure. Sometimes it can feel like a coincidence that our relationship works at all. And then a beautiful black cat crosses our path, and it all makes sense again!

Without a reminder, we sometimes forget how lucky we are to have such wonderful feline friends. That’s why we designed and made this Black Cat Costume! This is a very cute outfit however it is very small. I am 5 foot 6 inches and I weigh 155 lbs and even the extra large was too small for me. So I'm actually looking at something awful. 1X. I ordered the extra large and the arms are so tight it's uncomfortable. my advice would be to get 1 to 2 sizes bigger then you would normally wear. This costume is adorable. It fit me very well and I received lots of compliments on it. However, it is not the best made costume. My costume arrived with broken ears (headband snapped in half) and one of the gloves was missing the grey paw pad. I didn't have time to return it before my Halloween party, so I kept it and wore it as is. I got many compliments on this costume and I stayed pleasantly warm and comfortable most of the evening. I used a petticoat to flare the skirt more but it was very cute without it as well. The only problem I had with the costume was with the tail. Since it is attached I couldn’t get it into a comfortable position for my drive to the party I went to, and it also just hangs straight down off the skirt. Perhaps a detachable tail would work better for comfort and would be more able to be augmented in such a way as to make it less floppy. All in all though I was very happy with my purchase. I was surprised and pleased with the quality of this costume for the price. I did buy a wig and petticoat separately. Got lots of compliments and once I added the makeup, some didn't recognize me. The costume material was very good and it happened to be cold outside when I wore it, and the costume kept me really toasty! Dress fit perfect exactly like the size chart says. The gloves made the costume so great.. however the head band was pretty uncomfortable and didn't fit well on my head. This costume was a hit at the party!Was this review helpful to you?
