The sizing and fit are fine, but this item is not as pictured. Carmen Sandiego is notorious for her vibrant red trench coat. This costume is vibrant, but it it's more orange. Will be returning.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

I wear a size 22-24 and ordered a 6x because I have larger upper arms. I'd hoped the coat would fit in the arms and I could take it in on the body seams as needed. It seems like the makers made an extra wide coat and kept the arm circumference the same for all plus sizes if I had to guess. I could wrap the coat around myself 1.5x.

This was the best quality costume I think I've ever purchased! The red trench coat could actually be worn as an every day coat the quality is that good. Height 6ft | Size 5XI wear a 3/4 at Torrid and the 5X fit perfectly. I will say the sleeves were a little snug, but overall it fit well and the belt was long enough.
