Oh no! At the very last minute, your pal found a leak in his ceiling and it's a mess over there; he can’t possible host the big Halloween shindig tonight! Sounds like the work of Doctor Ivo Robotnik, to us.
That evil doctor is such a pain! If he’s not busy ruining everyone’s favorite holiday, then he’s trapping poor defenseless animals in robot shells as he searches for the chaos emeralds. Sounds like your buddy is in need of someone who can save the day, and in a hurry! Good thing you’d already selected this Adult Deluxe Sonic Costume long ago; now you can use your speedy, do-gooder nature to help people party! Because a real hero can't stand for that kind of a bummer. And you’re already well trained for tonight’s task; all that running through level after level, freeing your animal brethren, collecting rings, and just making sure that Robotnik has an all around bad day has prepared you for the frenzy of last-minute party planning. And while you don’t have any specific experience fixing leaky pipes, you have another video game buddy who is a pretty good plumber that you can call up, stat!
So zoom around in this shirt, pants, and headpiece combo and pick up dips, chips, drinks, and a chili dog or two (you deserve them, after all the hard work you’re pouring into this!) Because at the end of the day, the party will go off without a hitch, you will be celebrated, and everyone will party like its 1991. Chili dogs for all; except Dr. Robotnik.

Description has this - NOTE: Headpiece varies slightly from picture. Eyes are solid black, no yellow trim around mouth. Headpiece is not even close. Does not cover eyes or nose and rests on the forehead. It’s very heavy (filled with material) where picture looks like it is a foam mask. Eyes on mask are also sewn on crooked and ears are round not pointy. Picture attached of actual mask I received. As usual, the mass produced costume does not match the model. I bought the "Standard" size.
The headpiece does not fit properly because there is no space to accommodate a forehead, so the face of the costume ends up being on your forehead and the chin strap is useless.
Another problem is the gloves, they are hollow, not padded or inflated, so they end up looking flimsy unless you have freakishly long fingers. (Picture attached work ruler for reference)
Everything else is fine as far as fit; not too small, but big enough to wear an extra layer of clothing underneath if you choose to.Was this review helpful to you?
