Flying Fright
Deep in the woods of West Virginia lurks a terrifying being. Its wings flutter overhead as you unknowingly drive beneath it, wondering why you're so lost even when you have GPS. Its red eyes glow in the dar, awaiting your fate. Perhaps you'd think that a giant bug with a fetish for porch lights isn't that scary. You'd be wrong. Not only does this sinister figure have supernatural powers, he also has supernatural knowledge of future events. Normally, it would be nice to have a little forewarning about the future - say, a hint that a certain appetizer is guaranteed to make you feel a little queasy, or a tip that there'll be a surprise quiz in class on Monday. But grim warnings about huge tragedies? No thanks. We'll pass!
Product Details
Flap into any Halloween party with the most original costume when you wear this exclusive Mothman Costume for Adults! The full-length black jumpsuit has soft faux fur on the torso to simulate a moth's downy body. The oversized headpiece is also covered in faux fur, except for two huge red eyes that also serve as viewing ports so that you can see where you're going. A pair of gloves with long fingers and hooked thumbs adds to the costume's creepiness. The red, grey and black wings are stretched over wire to give them body. FYI, flying with them has not been tested.
Insidious Insect
This isn't your typical moth, the kind that you see knocking harmlessly against window screens on summer evenings. This moth is more likely to kick down the door and chase you around your living room. Better get a giant can of insect repellent when you visit its neck of the woods!

I enjoyed this costume! I am wide, but short 5'5" 200lbs at the time so I got the XL. It was warm and comfortable, but better for someone taller! I still loved it though. I wore it a couple of years ago, just now reviewing.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Dressing up as the Mothman is awesome for cryptid fans of all ages and this Mothman costume is uniquely designed with fun and fluffy details! It just needs a little work.
The headpiece is definitely my favorite part of the costume because it's a spacious mask that is covered in soft material as well as two little feathers that poke out on top for the moth-like appearance! Super cute and so fun to wear.
The bodysuit is nice but since this is a very fluffy costume, the zipper has had problems. My costume currently can't zip because of either the zipper design or the fluff getting constantly caught so you'll need to do some trimming here and there to make the zipper smoothly zip up.
My biggest critique has to be the wings. It's impossible to put the wings on by yourself, you'll definitely need someone to help you out. The wings are separate pieces that stick to your back with 2 large velcro strips attached to the back by the zipper. It's incredibly frustrating to put them on by yourself because once they're on you can move the zipper because it's covered. So you'll need to zip yourself up THEN put the wings on your back. Trust me, you'll need an extra pair of hands.
Overall, this costume is amazing in finished design and adorable but WOW it's very difficult to put it together on your own. So I would only recommend this costume to duo costumers and not solo costumers.Was this review helpful to you?
