Mother Nature really out-did herself with orcas. One of the more interesting animals of the sea, these giant mammals can grow as long as 32 feet and weigh up to six tons! Take a second to read that again; that's huge. Not only are these massive animals large and in charge of the ocean depths, but they're also one of the strongest carnivores of the ocean. They typically chow down on sea lions, fish, and other marine life, hunting in packs like the best land hunters.
More wild, they hunt by using sound waves, like a bat! But does this mean that you're in danger if you come across one in your time on the open water? Nope! They must not like people.
