Design & Details
From silly couple's costumes to planning a group costume for a bonkers bunch of friends, our Adult Peeled Banana Costume is a must! Inspired by the goofiest fruit in the salad and made with simple styling in mind, the exclusive costume includes just a highly detailed hooded tunic.
The costume starts with 100% polyester materials to give it a durable and lightweight construction. Foam-backing, meanwhile, helps the unique tunic keep its distinct shape. The costume doesn't feature any closures, instead, getting dressed like a banana is left to pulling the tunic over your head and slipping your arms through spacious openings on each side.
Detailing is where this costume truly shines. A textured plush material used for the hood of the costume ensures it looks just like the meat of a banana. Meanwhile, the soft and smooth Minky used for the banana's vibrant yellow peel and contrasting white lining gives the costume both a perfectly ripe look and texture.
However, our favorite detail is a large, printed sticker on the front of the banana, just under the folded peel and above the brown stem. Styled to imitate the familiar blue stickers stuck to each store-bought fruit down to the SKU #4011, this clever detail can't be overlooked!
