Height 5’10” | Weight 230 | Size X-LargeI’m a size 14/16, 40DD bust, 5’10” tall.
This costume could be amazing. It won’t work for me, but I can see it working for other body types. And it is the best of any affordable set I’ve seen out there.
Pros:
-decent quality: the items feel good on (except the hat is scratchy if you pull it down over the forehead)
-close to movie accuracy (however, the bow is pink, not red. The jacket, hat, and shorts are perfect in design. The colors are accurate)
Cons:
-gaps in hat sequins (not an actual problem as no one will see the top of my head)
-sizing is off: see size info above. I wear a XL in tops and bottoms. So with that, and based on the sizing chart, I ordered an XL.
One leg of the shorts is tighter than the other and the shorts themselves are tight on the thighs. The jacket absolutely does not fit, I couldn’t even get it on. The top has no support and is a bit too big. Putting a bra on helped slightly, but it would need body tape to stay up. And then it is very short, hitting just above the navel. Columbia’s bustier goes down into her shorts, but this is a very cropped top. The hat is a standard size, but would be too tight with thicker hair/wig and def needs pins to keep it from falling off if you’re moving around/dancing.
The potential for perfection is definitely there.
If you’re a smaller size with a small chest, I imagine this would be amazing.Was this review helpful to you?
