At first, I thought they forgot to put it in the package with the other items I purchased. I was expecting it to be made of a hard plastic like one of the other helmets I purchased, but it's made of a rubber-like material. It was flat as a pancake at the bottom of the box. However, once I removed it from the packaging and put it on, it fills out to look almost exactly like the one in their pictures. The two pieces that come down the side of your face had some trouble staying where they were supposed to, so I used a needle and thread to add some small string to them. Then I can tie the string under my chin/jaw which holds it all in place fairly well. All in all, I think this helmet is a pretty cool addition to my wardrobe. I'd definitely recommend. I ordered 4 of these for our Easter Sunday play this year. The helmets look great. However, one of them was a defective item. I can't send it back cause it'll be too late to get it back on time for our Easter play this year.Was this review helpful to you?

I conduct plays annually, and I have these Roman Soldier Characters in all my shows. The problem is I have different people every year acting these roles; Adults to kids who are of various sizes. It would not be very feasible to purchase two separate sets. But, I would have had to do that, if I hadn't come across this helmet. I had been looking for the perfect helmet that looks real, and yet one that could fit any head size! This was it!
- Looks 100% REAL though the material is latex!!
- Not heavy for the user, therefore it is very comfortable
- Black Brush looks extremely stylish, as it finishes with a horse tail that runs down from the back of the neck
- The black side flaps with Gold trimmings are flimsy so that they can follow through the facial structure of the user.
- Intricate design carvings with the brass effect is AMAZING!
A Buy that I can never REGRET! One that I would surely recommend, as it is certainly a head turner! Every time I use this, people ask me where I got this from..
