Rule the Dinosaur Scene
Time to rule, and we mean rule, the Halloween dinosaur scene. Sure, there is a lot of dinosaur costume-wearing folk but they're mostly dressed in T-Rex costumes and dinosaurs suits from their favorite movies. Well, we think its about time for a new dinosaur species to become king of the costume crowd. Basically, what we're saying is, it's time for the age of the Stegosaurus!
You were probably intrigued when you read about Stegosauruses as a kid, but perhaps you never appreciated them for the all-out brawlers they truly are. Yes, of course, they're plant-eaters, so they might not seem as vicious as a carnivorous Rex, but if you check out those spikes and spiked plates on their back, it should be obvious that they can throw down with the best of them. Just imagine those brutal spikes taking out a pack of velociraptors! Yup, you'd be making a wise choice to go as this tough dino, and we've got the goods to make it happen. Just get this Spiny Stegosaurus Costume and you'll be ready for Jurassic action!
Design & Details
A Made By Us exclusive, this Stegosaurus dinosaur costume was lovingly crafted by our team of costume developers and graphic designers. It's designed as a hooded jumpsuit and constructed with soft polyester velour. The finish of the suit is printed with scale patterns and gradient colors, each detail having been painstakingly designed by our team of graphic artists. It features a plush dinosaur face hood, with plastic eyes and a padded snout, and the signature soft-sculpted plates run down the back of the suit to the tip of the padded tail. it even has little spikes at the tip of the tail. We didn't want to forget those since they were the signature weapon of the Stegosaurus!

I have wanted a stegosaurus, my favorite dino as a kid, in costume form for years. Thank you HalloweenCostumes.com for finally making this item available in adult sizes! Having worn several Made By Us originals in the past, I knew this would be a superior design as well, and it does not disappoint. Printed from head to toe with scales, subtle tan and green color variations, and even toenails at the wrists and ankles; a thickly padded hood with plastic eyes under gently sculpted lids; burgundy-colored, perfectly pentagonal plates with printed “veins” running from the hood, down the back and down the massive, awesome but still lightweight tail...I feel prehistoric! The base of the tail attaches to the body in a large circular seam (visible from inside only), and the end is tipped with spikes. One of the costume’s best features, the tail has a good sway to it, and while it doesn’t drag on the floor constantly, the spikes can brush against it especially when standing up straight. I’m somewhat reluctant to sit in a closed-back chair for fear of creasing the tail, while open-backed benches or footstools are easier. But I’m nitpicking; stegosaurus fans shouldn’t let either of those minor details stop them from trying on the plates with this superb costume. Be a stegosaurus in a world of inflatable T-Rexes! This purchase made me the happiest I’ve been all this long, hard year.
