A GELFLING WITH WINGS!?
It's sure tough to survive in a world where you're rather lost on your own. Much harder when you don't really know a whole lot about what your race even is, though! When the Skeksis fear their own destruction, the poor Gelflings didn't have many places to hide. Not with those giant monster Garthims everywhere, anyway! Fortunately for a certain Gelfling gal, there are a few secrets that most of the world seemed to have forgotten.
When it is time to get from place to place, everyone knows that a quick song to the natural world and a flap of your secret wings is definitely the way to go! Kira managed to save the day loads of times while looking fantastic. Sure, it was technically Jen that would go about actually saving the world, but he wouldn't have gotten anywhere without the help from his best gal pal!
DESIGN & DETAILS
Our in-house designers have stayed hidden right under the Skeksis beaks so we could help all the Gelflings out. Help complete the prophecy and save the world with this officially licensed Kira Costume from The Dark Crystal. This exclusive look includes a lovely multi-shaded green gown, textured with layers of chiffon. The dress drops to your ankles in deep V-shapes for that especially natural look. The dark green cape ties at your neck and features an oversized hood and snaps on the back where your ivory chiffon wings attach. All you'll need next is a fuzzy Fizzgig to keep you company!

Size MediumI was super disappointed with this costume. Starting off, I received my package, opened it and the inside of the costume was everywhere. The wings were all bent up and the package for the costume itself was open with the contents out and about. I checked the size chart and my measurements and even with that, there’s no way this will ever fit. I’m not super upset since I caught it on sale but if I’d pay full price for it I would be disgusted with the quality of the costume itself. I love this costume! I would give it 5 stars if the wings were better... I am not sure why they chose to make the wing structure out of plastic instead of wire. The wings arrived misshapen and I cannot seem to shape them back into place. If they had been made from wire, the reshaping would likely be much easier. Because of the plastic wire used the wings just flop into a folded and sagging position. The wings do not look at all how they are represented in the picture because they just flop over. I purchased a pop up cat house (like a very small tent) and it popped right out into a solid structure once unwrapped. Size X-LargeThis costume fits OK everywhere except the arms. I could not move my arms at all. One movement from my arms ripped the sleeves. Fabric has zero stretch and the arms are tiny. The fabric is also cheap in quality and very rough. I ordered the Jen costume for my husband and it was great. Not sure why this one couldn't use better quality fabrics with stretch. Height 5'6" | Weight 140 | Size MediumThe cape, wings, and wig are good quality but the dress is cheaply made. The bodice area was a bit baggy but the arms were so tight that I couldn't bend or raise my arms over my head. Ultimately, the seams along the arms and shoulders riped open. Height 4'11 | Size LargeI really enjoy all the costumes I get from Halloween Costumes. I have never had a issue with anything I have bought from them. I Love this Costume! The Quality is Superb! It fits me perfectly, except for the length of it. It is too Long in length. I will have to get it hemmed up. I always have this issue with pants and costumes though.
