A Spinning Wheel of Fear
Clowns and fairs go together like chocolate and peanut butter. It's easy and fun to pretend that ominous things are lurking behind the dazzling lights and spinning rides. You wouldn't want to get trapped on a ride with someone, or something, that was out to get you. Oooh, we're getting goosebumps just thinking about it! Add some creepy, retro flair to your Halloween decorations with this Animatronic Evil Clown Ferris Wheel. It's the perfect blend of innocent and off-putting. Everything looks fine, until you get just a bit too close...!
Product Details
This decorative piece's style is basically: take Grandma's vintage toy collection, but make it bigger and creepier. This Ferris wheel stands around 6 feet tall once it's put together, so it will command the attention of everyone who sees it. With 5 gondolas, 5 clowns, several support pieces, a motor, and more, this decoration takes a bit of time to put together, but it is totally worth it. Once assembled, it can play creepy music, and you can also control its spinning. Set it to continuous, or opt for the sound or pressure activation. That will make people jump as they walk by!

This is a very cool looking prop. However, it stopped working after about an hour. When it was working it seemed slow and jerky, and sometimes wouldn't turn all the way. I took the cover off the motor and saw the small drive belt that wraps around two pulleys (one large about 1 inch in diameter, and one small one about 1/2 inch diameter) had snapped. I attached a rubber gasket I had and it worked for another day or so. The small pulley generates so much speed and friction that it burns through the belts very quickly. Finally, I found a thicker gasket/rubber washer/belt and it worked great and turned smoothly and at the rate it was probably meant to. But this morning I see that the ferris wheel had stopped again. This time, the gasket was fine... But the problematic tiny pulley had not worn out the belt but had created so much friction that the small pulley was almost disintegrated in the middle. I'll have to 3d print a new pulley because there's no way I'm disassembling and packing this thing for shipping.
Advice to buyers.... Don't purchase this unless you are prepared to spend a least 30 minutes a day fixing it. And have random washer and gaskets around for repair.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - Very cool.By Emily | August 31, 2023
I love this clown ferris wheel decoration! The only thing I would add is maybe a few lights to the ferris wheel. We had to buy a spotlight for it so people could see it. The creepy music that plays when it is on is a nice touch!Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - Five StarsBy Anonymous | November 23, 2021
