What the "L"
When you're a chess piece, the stakes are high. There aren't that many pieces out there on the board and all the pieces have to play their part just right. Pawns hop forward one step unless it's their first move of the game. The bishops zoom diagonally along however many squares they need to. The queen of each side is the boss of the chessboard, moving however she wants as long as she doesn't jump any squares. And the knights? Well, the knights know how to move. They move in an L shape to protect their side from any pieces that might cause trouble in their checkered kingdom.

The faceguard fastens down the front with a strip of hook and loop fastener. A size adjuster on the interior allows this helmet to be used with different sizes and ages.
