LIVING AMONG THE STARS
Kids always have wild aspirations about what they want to be when they grow up. Firefighters and police officers, doctors and veterinarians. But, astronauts are always a major love, too. Of course, all those things are natural choices until they realize that there are some options that they've completely overlooked. How about the real life-changing jobs of those truly living in the clouds and among the stars?
It is one thing to have your dream come true. It's an even better thing, though, when that dream is granting the wishes of everyone around you! That's the glory of Wish Bear. Among all the Care Bears of Care-A-Lot, only Wish Bear has access to the actual stars that can make everyone's hopes a reality. What better job is there!? Who could just be an astronaut when you could also befriend the stars... and be an adorable teddy bear at the same time!?
DESIGN & DETAILS
It is time for all our dreams to come true when your little one gears up in this officially licensed Care Bear look with our own Made by Us Wish Bear Costume for toddlers. This bright blue jumpsuit is made of soft and comfortable custom fur and features the iconic shooting star belly badge of all our favorite Care Bear. Your kiddo will be smiling ear to ear when they pull up the hood to reveal Wish Bear's own grinning face. And, if that wasn't enough, there's nothing like a hug from your tyke... unless that hug also includes the softest fuzz and felt hearts on the palms!
SERIOUS AMBITION
Your kiddo has big dreams and there's no dream bigger than wishing to become a supernatural critter with wish-granting powers! While that might be a very long-term goal, we can get you both part of the way there with this Wish Bear Costume. Just get the wording of those wishes right!
We believe that costumes have the power to create some of life's best moments. That's why we started Made by Us. This diverse selection of costumes and accessories are all artfully designed and expertly crafted by our talented team of artists, designers, and developers.
Each project begins with a passion for true quality–embroidered patches, faux fur cut with care, and hand-selected fabrics that are as durable as they are comfortable. Those are just a few examples of how much craft and creativity we put into each and every product. Just for you.
No matter how much time it takes, our goal has always remained the same–to create products that inspire your life's best moments–the big, the small, the funny, the spooky, and the sweet. The moments we all cherish. That's Made by Us.

Size 2TOK, to start off with, my nearly two-year-old absolutely loves this costume. She loves all things Care Bear and dressing up as one fills her little heart with irrepressible joy. This is, in this case, both a good and a bad thing because what she and I do not love is getting it on and off of her.
You see, this costume is mostly all one piece (excluding the shoe covers). It has a fully attached hood and the only opening for getting into it is a zipper that runs from just above the tail (about waist level) to just below the neck. The fabric of this costume has next to no stretch. This means I can get her legs in, but then it is nearly impossible to get it over her head. Alternately, I can get her head and arms into it, but it will not stretch down far enough to get her legs in. Have you ever tried to dress or undress an over-excited toddler into or out of something that they can not easily get into? I'll tell you there is a lot of screaming and thrashing. It's not fun for anyone involved. I can't help feeling that whoever designed the thing really did not test it or think it through.
Once she's got it on, she's as happy as can be! She struts around shouting "Bear bear bear!!"
To me, the arms are a bit too long and she has no interest at all in using the attached gloves (would be better if they were detachable). The hood also seems a bit large and either falls over her face or off her head all together. We got this for her Halloween costume, so I may see if I can modify it somewhat to make it more practical to wear and easier to get on and off.Was this review helpful to you?
