The sun will come out tomorrow!

If ever there was a little girl who knew how to take lemons and make lemonade, it was Little Orphan Annie. This girl managed to survive the hard knock life of the Great Depression and come out with a smile—and some really catchy show tunes. Whether she was cheering up President Roosevelt or turning Daddy Warbucks’ mansion upside down, her friendly heart is too big to resist.

In fact, after watching Annie charm the socks off everyone in New York City, we don’t really see what the big deal is about being an urban orphan in the 1930s. It looks like a blast! You get to run around the city and go to the movies and get into wacky misadventures with your loveable shaggy dog. You get to be on the radio and even meet the president! What’s so hard-knock about all that?

If your little girl dreams of being an orphan in the Big Apple during the Great Depression, you can bet your bottom dollar that this Little Annie Costume is perfect. It’s based on the dress Annie receives from Daddy Warbucks, since nobody wants the boring pre-makeover outfit. The red velour dress has white satin trim around the collar and sleeves, and a matching white satin belt is worn around the waist. To get the complete classic Annie look, pick up the curly red wig as an accessory to pair with this costume. And remember, you're never fully dressed without a smile!

    Super Cute!
    By Anonymous  | November 3, 2014
This costume was the hit of our Trunk or Treat! Some of the other reviews demonstrated that this generally ran small...we DEFINITELY agree. Our 4 year old daughter is pretty short for her age and this dress was almost too short, but worked out well.

The red is almost a velour, but still very cute!
