Greeting the Day (Quietly)

Good morning! The sun is rising over the rim of the world to bathe the land below in its clear and dewy light. Small birds begin chirping cheerfully as they search for their breakfast. And in your garden, the sunflowers raise their golden heads to follow the glow of the new day. They're early risers, but they're not the kind that slides down the bannister, makes a huge racket rummaging around in the pantry for the cereal, or wakes everyone else up demanding to know why there's no milk left. Imagine that.

Product Details

If your child is the "early to rise" type, this Sunflower Costume for Kids is perfect for them! The unisex hood slips on over the head and has a wide opening for the face. the front is decorated with a circular fabric ruff that's stiffened to help it keep its shape and printed with graphics of a sunflower's brown disc and golden yellow petals. A long green fabric streamer hangs down from the front of the hood and is decorated with attached fabric "leaves."

Sunny Snacking

Any flower fan would love to wear this fun costume! It's as perfect for school pageants as it is for Halloween trick-or-treating. Its only downside is that it may give anyone who sees it a powerful craving for sunflower seeds. Those seeds are delicious, but we've always wondered if they actually qualify as a snack, since you'd have to eat a LOT of them to feel less hungry. Maybe they fall into the "things you chew on during a ball game" category, like bubblegum.
