She Doesn’t Scare Us

We tried to hire Cruella De Vil once here at Halloweencostumes.com. She has a great eye for fashion and for making clothes that work on any body shape. She gets fashion. The only problem was keeping her away from dog themed costumes… She always wanted our werewolves to have poodle hair, or to give our vampires new cloaks made of Black Labs. We mediated and tried to find a workable solution for everybody, but she just would not give up on the idea that dogs should be made into clothes, so, unfortunately, we had to terminate her employment with us. It was hard to let such amazing talent go, but it was probably best for everyone involved, since now we can bring our office dog back out!

The problem with Cruella De Vil is that she sees everything in black and white. For example, she thinks making clothes out of dogs is extremely fashionable and not a bad idea. We’re much more skeptical about that! Instead, we just make clothes the normal way, with cloth. It’s much lighter and more comfortable, too.

Take this long asymmetrical jacket, for example. It has all the class and fashion sense of a true De Vil masterpiece, but without any dogs being harmed in the process! Revolutionary, we know.

We think back on Cruella’s time with us very fondly, but, as we do our work, we are happy to know that bring your dog to work day is going to be back on this year!
