Through the Woods
A trip through the woods is not always what it seems...
Sometimes, the trip to grandma's house can turn into quite the perilous adventure. Just ask Little Red Riding Hood. On her trek, she ended up traveling through the woods, bumping into a devious wolf, and then, said wolf even tricked her and her grandma. Then, that mean old wolf ATE her grandma. We don't know about you, but we like our grandma, and we don't like how that fairy tale goes down. We think it's about time that someone created a new ending to that story, where Red Riding Hood gets the best of the wolf and her grandma DOESN'T get eaten by the wolf, and we think that you're just the kind of girl to play the lead role!
Design & Details
This deluxe costume is 100% exclusive to our site and it puts you into the lead role in your own fairy tale! The women's costume comes complete with a shirt, corset, skirt, cape, and pair of gauntlets. The shirt is a white peasant style blouse, while the corset, which clasps in front, is made of faux suede that makes the outfit look like something straight out of Grimm's fairy tales. The skirt and cape are dark red velvet. The only thing this costume doesn't come with are all the goodies you're going to need to bring to your grandmother's house, so make sure to pick up her favorite snacks before you even think about stepping foot into the forest.

I ordered it for Halloween and the plus-size fit like a glove. The quality is awesome, and the delivery to Europe very fast. Together with the make up I had so many positive reactions. When I opened the costume I was super excited. It was so well made and on the hanger looked amazing. I am 5’4 and 134 and evenly proportioned in my body weight. So I where a size 6 normally sometimes 4. So I got a small. The shirt was huge usually size small shirts are a bit snug. So with the shirt being huge I tucked it in. Bottom line size small is huge everywhere except the vest and it fit perfect maybe even a little snug. I felt very un comfortable. If you want a well made costume this is the one if you want it to fit I would try a different one.Was this review helpful to you?

I adore this costume so much. It is beautifully made. You'll stay warm outside. Since I am 5'3", I pulled the skirt up to my bra line, therefore, I did not have to hem the bottom. I was walking around fine.Was this review helpful to you?

I wasn't expecting much out of a $60 costume but it's surprisingly high quality! I wore it to the Renaissance Festival and plan to wear it again to a Halloween party. The bodice was exceptionally well made. I did replace the wrist bracers with leather ones that I bought at Ren Fest since the ones that came with it were a shiny plastic material, although they were made very well. Height 5'3" | Weight 150lbs | Size X-LargeI really like this costume, the details in the vest and cape are gorgeous, especially love the fact the cape snaps to the vest. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the way it is packaged I have rust spots on my white shirt from the front clasps of the vest, which honestly isn't end of the world since the vest will hide it but I will probably use a different shirt as this is a little too large for my liking. Height 5’2” | Weight 145 | Size LargeReally impressed with the quality of this costume. The velvet hooded cape with ribbon trim is stunning. Surprisingly affordable for a 5 piece set! The faux suede vest has wonderful metal details with the hooks down the front. And the snaps on the shoulders for the good to attach are a thoughtful addition so the cape doesn’t slip off and drag from your head alone.
I typically wear a medium or large but have a larger bust. Based on the measurements, I orders a large and it was great. I knew I would have to hem since I’m short but the hood is actually perfect. Size X-SmallI knew this costume would be big since most things I buy are longer but this was never going to fit. The difference between a extra small and small is 1 inch! The cape would end up dragging a foot behind me if I wore it. Just holding it up I can tell there is not point putting it on. I really liked the costume. The shirt is very simple but the vest pulls it in and gives it a fitted look. This looked really cute for a Halloween party. Best thing is, I can use it for a Renaissance festival if I were to go to one. Lose the basket and it works for that as well. I agreed with past reviews that the snap on cape is a nice touch.
