For a child, or adult for that matter, candy and sweets can be a great source of joy. If you want the greatest job in the world though, you're going to have to dress for the occasion, which means a colorful jacket and a cool hat. This costume set comes with those items, so all you have to do to get the job, is bring your wacky attitude. The white cotton dress shirt has an attached bow tie and the floral-patterned vest gives the look a polished touch. The included pants have an elastic waistband for a comfortable fit and the brown hat gives a little added detail. The real star of the show, however, is the purple, faux-velvet jacket. This jacket is a showstopper and is sure to make everyone believe you are the real deal! Not sure why it brought up someone else's review when I clicked my 4 star rating. Received the suit overnight to cosplay Willy Wonka at Dragoncon as a tribute to Gene Wilder. Having read other reviews I bought an accurate hat as the colapsible one in the kit left much to be desired and bought a tan pair of pants as the one size fits all elastic waste pants in the kit were OK. Also added a wig styled like Wonka's hair and an ornately carved cane. Got lots of "You look amazing" or "Nicely done sir" complements. Coat, vest and shirt with bow tie in the kit worked perfectly.Was this review helpful to you?

I have to be truthful in that I really didn't expect much of this costume. Most are just that, really bad quality material that you hate to wear. Many times you also can't expect much out of the fit either, as the sizing is all over the board.
Luckily, I don't have to say either of those things about this costume. This is a costume I will be proud to wear, not dreading. The fit is great, for a 'one size fits most' costume, only the sleeves were a bit long, but only by about 3/4ths of an inch, so wearing it without alterations is definitely possible. It is made from a level of materials on par with every day clothing, something that is rare in a low to mid level priced costume.The material in all the pieces is excellent, with the exception of the hat, but hats included in costumes ALWAYS leave much to be desired which is why I ordered a better quality hat when I put in my order for this costume.
Others have said a wig should be included and I can agree with that to a point, but for the price, you're getting a REALLY excellent quality costume that easily could be mistaken for a much more expensive alternative, even up close. A cheap wig can be had for a few more bucks so no big deal.
This is my third order as of recently with halloweencostumes.com, and each time I have been immensely impressed with the high level of quality products they are offering at great, low prices. This costume feels like a costume, looks awesome from two feet away, not as heavy as I thought it would be from the pictures. Costume was a hit. One problem was the pants design - NO POCKETS. I stopped at a thrift store to buy pants with pockets. Everything fit fine except the shirt. I could not fasten the top buttonWas this review helpful to you?
