Title Tossing
Everyone can immediately recognize Captain America thanks to the iconic image of tossing that shield out, watching it rebound against a ton of baddies, and then come right back to its rightful wielder. It’s classic! And, secretly, we all probably want a turn at seeing if we can pull off that kind of a maneuver. Of course, imagining that honor and actually bearing the shield are two entirely different things. And that goes double for the title of Captain America.
When Steve Rogers retires, it’s quite the wide-eyed surprise for Sam Wilson to step into the role. In fact, it is one that makes a guy wonder if he’s even right for the job.
