For the record: I love this little guy. I am keeping my gargoyle. I am emotionally attached to him. This gargoyle is well-painted and easy to assemble.
But I do not recommend him.
As of writing this, Fun does not mention nor show pictures of the fact that this guy is backless or how easily warped his bowl can be. (I unwarped mine as best as I found, ignore the pointed aspect of the bowl lol).
Because, minus the omission and camera tricks, I love this little guy. He's a good size and of high quality plastic (minus the bowl). I would recommend him if this listing was informing customers fully of what they would be receiving.
Because now, I'm tinged with the sadness of debating to save up and commission a 3D-printer artist to make a back and stronger bowl. And at least, if I had known beforehand, I would have expected these facets and maybe could have started saving sooner or, perhaps, not had assumptions and therefore been able to eagerly expect and welcome that this guy WAS backless and had an easy-to-warp bowl. Because he truly is great otherwise.
Again, hopefully, this listing is updated in the future. Because I do overall recommend this guy.
But, if it's not, at least my review will help some future customers be informed better about what they are getting.Was this review helpful to you?
