This guy is an absolute show stopper. The ropes could be better for him, though. We finally got him up and immediately, the traffic began slowing down to catch a look. we purchased this in September and not long after it ripped at the seams. Emailed support they sent a replacement out to us and not long after the second one did the same thing to us and ripped at the seams. Everyone in my neighborhood loved this thing, it became a tourist attraction halloween night, everyone wanted their picture with it.
3 issues i've had with it, the blower it came with was woefully underpowered, bought "Bounce House Blower, 750W 1HP Commercial Air Blower with Double-Sided Fan Blade Design" off amazon and worked beautifully. Blower it came with didn't provide enough power/air for it to get upright all the way no matter what we tried.
Some of the hooks sewed into the inflatable had to be sewed back in. Not a huge deal, simple needle and thread but if you've never done it before, can seem like its broke forever.
Third, you'll need heavier weights in the feet. There are zippers in the feet, the weights that is there is a joke. Get 2 bags of soil from home depot and put them in the feet, that'll keep it in place (this will likely prevent hooks from tearing out as well as it won't be as easy for feet to move).
Product is well made, just the stress on points where the hooks are, if in a windy area (like mine was and seemingly others) will cause too much stress on the hooks/stakes and cause tears.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

This guy was THE ATTENTION grabber we were looking for! To be honest, it's really hard to setup alone, you need two or even three people and a lot of rope! Remember to give it some slack, the tighter the rope the more of a chance it will rip. We recently set this up and it did not last a week. It was just a little windy outside and the material in the legs near the zipper just started ripping. Also, the weights in the feet aren't that heavy and the steaks for the feet are useless. You will also need to find 4 additional stakes for the blower machine to e sure it doesn't move. We wanted to like this as we buy other products but this was very cheap material and will not even last a 2nd season.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

This inflatable has practically drawn the entire neighborhood to our house! However, the caribeaners that came with him are cheap and broke loose. He hit the roof and tore. Halloweencostumes.com customer service is sending a replacement and they alone deserve 5 stars for that! Thank you! This 25 foot marshmallow man is simply amazing visually. It's ginormous size truly is striking and will grab the attention of not only neighbors but also of low flying aircrafts. The cons are also it's size because it lacks sufficient tether points. This thing only has 4 points to tie it down. It really needs 6 or even 8. The gravel in the feet is also not heavy enough. Simply put it just needs some better structural support and it would easily be 5 stars. On a windy day unless you add extra contact points and weight in his feet I wouldn't even bother airing him up. I do question the rigidity of the overall blow up but I decided to play it safe and send back the 25 foot for the 15 foot. Attached to this review is a picture of it in front of my house with my 4 year old son by his foot and me by his leg (I am 6'1"). As you can see it's simply too big for my yard on top of my other concerns. However, It's absolutely massive and so cool! If you have the space and possibly the means to add extra tether points this thing would be even better. Maybe one day I'll buy it again and have the 15 foot and the 25 foot next to each other. It's awesome and everyone loves to see him up. Last year was the first year having it. It needs work though.
1 the tie downs in the feet are small and there are only 2 per foot. 3 of them pulled out. We had to make repairs before putting it up this year.
2 The lights in mine weren't attached as they were supposed to be and were laying in his foot. I have yet to fix that. Because...
3 The zippers in the feet aren't big enough for someone to get inside. You know....... to fix things....... like lights.
4 not enough upper tie downs. Only 1 on each side under the arms. One one chest and back would be helpful.

I love this giant marshmallow man but the tethers they give you are not heavy duty at all for the size this thing is it should have more heavy duty rope tethers instead of the ones that come in the inflatables at the store. Hes huge and awesome and everyone that comes by is like wow its life size !!! But it needs improvement. The loops to hold the strings need to be thicker to support him. Another person I talked to said the bottom loops on the feet broke the same day so they had to find an alternative to keep him standing up. He is so big that on windy days he definitely is all over the place. I hope he makes it through the season but I wish I bought the 15 foot instead.Was this review helpful to you?

I have mixed feelings about this inflatable.
Pros:
- Bigger than it looks in pictures. Standing beside him, you can't even see his head, he's so plump!
- Attention getter for sure. I've only had it up twice for 2 hours each (testing set-up) and many cars slowed down, people jumped out to take pictures, approving comments from neighbors, etc.
- The neighborhood kids love it and can't stop asking questions and telling stories about it ("This is the biggest decoration I've ever seen!", "it's coming to get us!"). A few kids came by to check it out after being able to see him inflated from 20 houses down the street
- The lights look like crap in the pictures but actually look pretty good in person and definitely light him up to see him easier at night
- Once you get him set up properly, he's self-sufficient and stays where he needs to stay with little movement
- I was apprehensive about his angry face, but it's grown on me. His face fits the Halloween spirit: fun with a little scare
Cons:
- Foot zippers are delicate. One of the foot zippers broke the second time I unzipped it
- No instructions on how to set it up. I had to read how-to articles, watch YouTube videos, and trial & error
- The yellow plastic stakes that come with this are useless. This inflatable wants to run and jerks those stakes out of the ground with ease
- I had to purchase 8 long metal camping stakes.
- Doesn't come with enough rope. I had to purchase more rope and carabiners.
- Doesn't fit back in the shipping box. I've been shopping for a large bin to store it.
Recommendation:
I would recommend but It's too delicate and doesn't come with the appropriate supporting equipment. I only plan to set this up on Halloween weekend and special events. I doubt this inflatable could survive multiple days or weeks exposed to the outside. Would likely work best indoors.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Relatively easy to set up.
Only takes about 7 minutes to inflate.
Helpful to have 2 or 3 people for placement of lines.
Moments after setting up, someone stopped and asked to have their picture taken with it.
It is BIG.
About as tall as a two-story house.

Got this 3 days after it shipped (5 out of 5 would ship with again) and took about a week to getting it set up on the roof of our workplace. Had ot going for 3 days and people loved it.
Though with something this big even on ground level, I feel that the amount of anchor points to tie him down is heavily lacking. Mainly in we had to triple the rope to hold him and noting it's putting a lot of stress on the side loops whenever even a steady wind comes through.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

I purchased one of these a year ago. I was very excited. The material is VERY thin and the seams are poorly constructed with no reinforcement. Within a few days, the stakes at the feet had ripped and there were small holes requiring duct tape to plug.
Ok, no big deal. It is a massive inflatable. Anyways, we go thru the Halloween season last year with the periodic small tear requiring repair. By the end of a month of placement I had probably patched 5-6 small holes. Some as large as a piece of paper. No big deal. The kids loved it. The neighborhood loved it. I kept fixing it. On Halloween night we had a wind storm. It was quite windy. I did not deflate. Big mistake. It had a final rip that was approx 6 feet long. Totally my fault. Heartbroken.
I convinced my wife to buy another and we did so the next day.
I keep him boxed up. Open him up early last week. Install to the EXACT instructions. Immediately, the same problem with the stakes at the feet happen AGAIN. Small patches. I message the company and they basically tell me to go fly a kite. I eat it. Patch him again. No biggie. I come home today... another large tear has happened. This one is quite difficult to patch and now it is once again cosmetically displeasing. And I'm in the same routine and the company doesn't care.
Pros:
When its up, its awesome.
Easy to install.
Cons:
Shoddy material and construction.
Poor customer support
Very pricy for such a poorly made product.
Requires lots of maintenance.
Wind is a big issue.
If money isn't an issue, buy 3 of them. If i'm ever a millionaire, I will. If you have to do repairs like I do, flex tape works the best. Not duct tape. Flex tape seals to the fabric well.

He is awesome. If he had proper supports. He only has 1 support on each side and is massive. It's not enough to hold him. Mine didn't last 2 days on a day that wasn't even windy the strap on one side exploded. I took him to a seamstress who fixed that one and add 2 more on each side. The most promising decoration I have ever seen. If you have disposable income and don’t mind throwing this away after a day, buy it. It was the hit of the neighborhood and I’m honestly shocked my house wasn’t mentioned in the news somewhere… probably because it only lasted a short time before becoming unusable in the weather.
If they ever mark this down I may buy another… but not ever again at full price.
-This is a pain to put up. It took a full day and 5 people
-You cannot put it up in wind— not even a light breeze. And forget about rain in October (I am in Portland Oregon— huge NO)
-All of the anchors ripped off
-The foot zippers ripped
-Most of the major seams ripped
-Rain water got stuck between the chest seams which made it a pain to keep balanced

This thing looks absolutely amazing! I was completely blown away by the sheer size of this thing. Having said that, the quality and structural design is horrible. They basically scaled up their smaller Stay Puft to be 25' tall. At 25' tall this thing is a giant sail! It only has two anchor points on its waist. It should have at least four. The slightest breeze puts way too much stress on these points and it tears. I try to only inflate him when conditions are perfect and on Halloween night. Got him last year and all of his straps ripped off. This is our 2nd year and we've had to sew up his seams over and over. 5 and 6 foot holes. Fishing line isn't even holding. I received the first one of these, set it up, and one of the seams near the leg ripped out the first day it was up. I returned it, and received a replacement. This inflatable is massive....taller than my house and can be seen from a block away. Lights and tethers could be better. Product is great, All the neighbors loved it, came by to see it and take pictures. The hooks supplied to attach to a loop then to the rope to tether it to the ground were junk. They let go as soon as we were trying to inflate it. Stay Puft is cool but he will not stand up on his own. There are only two tethers and no mater where you place them he will not stand up straight without help. I'm not sure if the little blower motor isn't strong enough or if there should be two more tie down points one in the front and one in the back. I used a metal pole for hanging plants that I stuck in the ground and tied the ropes to behind him. The tie downs on the foot tore after 1 week. It was not inflated during high winds, just couldn't hold. Contacted company and they made it right immediately. Will buy from HalloweenCostumes.com again for their great customer service.Was this review helpful to you?
