Breakfast Beliefs
Some people have seriously strong opinions when it comes to breakfast. We get it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, after all! People are passionate about food so it can be almost impossible to change minds and palates. Don't try and get a white toast fan to try rye on any given Sunday morning. Black coffee drinkers seldom switch to dosing it with cream and sugar.
Even small differences such as sausage patties versus sausage links can cause breakfast skirmishes. So we understand the resistance to green eggs and ham. Why is Sam-I-Am so insistent? Is it a trick? A ruse to get spoiled ham and eggs off his hands? Turns out, Sam-I-Am simply believed in the delicious nature of the verdant meal! Thank goodness he believed in his cause because Guy-Am-I ended up loving green eggs and ham, after all!
