Dash is your typical kid, with more energy than he knows what to do with. Violet is a shy teen who doesn't want to be seen, so invisibility is quite fitting for her.
Now Helen or Mrs. Incredible powers are the most fitting for her character. Like most mothers, she has a lot on her plate and needs to be flexible to get those jobs done.
