Who Wants a Hug?
Cacti are super smart plants! They've evolved over the years to protect their nifty water supplies with sharp spines. This cactus, however, has re-evolved to suit its environment. Its surface and spines aren't dangerous at all: Instead, they seem more likely to cause delighted "awww!" noises and prompt onlookers to give the cactus a big squeeze. Scientists who study this phenomenon are calling it the "irresistable cuteness mechanism."
Product Details
Your baby will be the sweetest houseplant of all in a Balloon Cactus Infant Costume! The outfit has wide arm and leg holes so that your little one can wear the costume over lightweight clothes. Snaps at the crotch allow for diaper access. The body is made of blue fleece fabric printed with white polka-dots like an extra adorable plant pot. The hood is made of green fleece with an opening for your baby's face. It's appliqued with a cheerful facial expression and sewn with soft felt spines as well as orange felt "hair."
Pick of the Patch
This plant is different from your other garden friends! It's a little louder than its fellows, needs more cereal puffs, and tends to get cranky if it doesn't get enough nap time, but it also loves to snuggle in a way that your average succulent just can't. It grows and flourishes in sunshine, and enjoys watching the world go by. "Pot" it in a stroller and take it trick or treating: Absolutely no dirt, mulch, or fertilizer required!
