The 50s were a hip time! Rock and roll was becoming the main jive, and fast cars were starting to rule the scene. And of course, the place that all the teens went to go hear the tunes and hang with their friends would be at the local soda shop and drive in. While there young people would order delicious milkshakes and dance to the rocking music all night long. And now your little girl can serve up some fun in this great retro costume!
Even though your girl missed this rockin' era by just a few years, she can still become on of the iconic car hops with this detailed retro costume. She can pop on a pair of quad skates and roll around with a tray full of burgers, or she can just walk from imaginary car to car when she's having fun at playtime. This one piece dress includes an apron and cap for the finishing details. Contrasting black top and light blue skirt are all tied together with the white apron, short sleeve cuffs, and collar. Sequin and ruffle details on the apron adds a little flash, and the screen printed diner logo on the top adds a touch of authenticity. Just put the sequin accented top hat on her, and she'll be ready for her first job. (Even if it is all imagination and play. And pretending to go back to 1955!)

Size MediumCute apron. Cheap foam hat that won't retain its shape. Juniors diner printed all across the back of outfit as well (my daughter hated that). Super short.
