Design & Details
This Kid's Deluxe Harry Potter Hermione Costume comes officially licensed from the Harry Potter movie series. It goes to great lengths to bring your child and an authentic outfit inspired by the Hogwarts attire worn by Hermione Granger. The costume starts with a full-length, black robe that features an oversized hood and the Gryffindor emblem on the front. The satin interior showcases the burgundy color of the Gryffindor House and the front closes with a convenient button and loop fastener.
The v-neck sweater has a cardigan design with a button-up front and Gryffindor crest on the chest. The costume also comes with a shirt front and skirt to recreate the school uniform. To tie the whole look together, the costume includes a satin necktie that comes with the gold and burgundy colors of the Hogwarts House.

Size LargeI bought this for my taller 6 1/2 year old for a Universal Studios trip knowing she would grow into it later. She was chosen for the wand ceremony so I would say it worked beautifully!!
As for fit, the large was too long but the sleeves were perfect. No biggie as I hemmed it 5” . The skirt was also too big, but again not a huge deal as my daughter prefers leggings.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Size LargeOK so I ordered this costume for my daughter and first off it arrived exactly on the day it was supposed to so they’re not kidding when they guarantee it to arrive on a certain day. Second, it does run a bit small in the skirt but everything else fits just fine. The quality is great and the only thing I will say is the shirt front is kind of a bit pointless. Your best bet is to go get a plain white button down shirt. Other than that it is the best costume I’ve ever gotten my kid. Size SmallMy 7 years old daughter is absolutely sure that this costume was used on the movie set! It looks authentic. Very good quality! We just need to buy grey socks and it will be complete. Color is not bright red like on the photo. It’s the right color of Gryffindor. Sizing is perfect for a tall skinny girl who is turning 8 years old on Nov 9. Skirt is perfectly tight on her waste line. I didn’t even need to adjust it.

Height 55” | Weight 90 | Size LargePurchased for my 10 yo daughter. She normally wears 10/12 but on the top end. This costume fits perfectly. Everything is kind of flexible except the skirt-it’s zip up with button and no elasticity. Skirt still fits her but she has to wear it pretty far up her chest to be comfortable. That works great for her height though-still comes to the knee. Overall seems like good quality costume. We’ll see if it stands the test of time. Height 4' | Weight 55lbs | Size SmallThis costume was way nicer than I expected. When the put Deluxe in the title they weren't kidding. It's definitely not one of those faux costumes (not that there is anything wrong with those). I almost didn't buy this because in the picture the cape looks bright red which isn't the correct color, but when it came it's the perfect maroon shade. I wish it hadn't been so expensive but after seeing the quality of the material I see why it was. The only thing they should change is that the skirt should have an elastic waist in order to accommodate a wider range of sizes. The skirt has a zipper and it JUST fits my little girl where as the rest of the costume is a tad bit big. Other than that it's great! I would give this costume 3.5 stars if I could. I got the medium for my 9 yr old daughter. She's about 54 in and 64lbs and overall the costume fit her well. The robe is really good quality with the exception of the button falling off right away (which I think almost everyone has mentioned). The material is much better than so many other costumes we looked at. Also the sweater is perfect (my daughter's word)! Now for the not so good - the skirt feels like an after-thought. It's just a piece of very thin, see-through cloth. And the included collar is very stiff and cheap as well. Thankfully we already have a skirt and white collared shirt she can wear. But for the price I would expect better quality. We received the costumes today packed nicely. The quality of the robe is amazing but I am quite disappointed that the sweater is not the same as what is pictured in the advertising photos. The online photos all show Hermione's sweater with a nice thick row of red and gold banding on the cuffs and the bottom of the sweater. The sweater we received has plain gray cuffs with no red and gold trim. This detail was one of my favorite things about this particular costume over other options we had considered. For the price, I was hoping for much better quality. The cloak has so many threads pulling away from the seams, one of the buttons fell off instantly after being taken out of packaging, the skirt is thin and can be seen through. Height 53” | Size SmallNice quality costume. My daughter is 9, but on the small size for her age. Using the measurements/photos given, I decided to go with Small (6) over the medium (8-10). While it is a touch snug on her, she feels comfortable and happy in this. We are able to zip the skirt in the back and the sweater cuffs come just to her wrists. The most noticeable for us is the robe,, as the sleeves are a little shorter than I was expecting vs the photo, but overall, I would say this runs true to the measurements given. The photos with the plain white background to me are misleading regarding the robe- it appears oversized and ankle length in those photos, but the fit is more in line with the other girl in the group photos, The sweater is definitely nice enough that you could wear it separately as regular clothing. Size X-LargeThis Hermione Costume is very well made. My daughter loves it. It came with everything you need, except the wand. It even came in the child XL size (she is a size 14-16), which is very important to my 9 year old daughter. She is very tall for her age and it is sad that she is growing out of children's clothing already. She absolutely loves this costume. She was a bit confused, however, about the white undershirt. Ordered a small for my 6 yo who wanted to dress as Ginny and a medium for my 9 yo who wanted to dress as Hermione. The quality is great! They can wear the sweaters any time. The white shirt is really only a tie-up dickie (if you’re old enough to know what those are). Like others have said, the skirts are not elastic around the waist but a pin solves that problem easily. These are the costumes to get. The other less expensive options out there don’t hold a candle to these.
