My son is wearing 4T clothes and is wearing an XS lion costume. Good quality. I did need to pluck some of the hair out of the stitching of the hood to fluff it up, some of the hairs on the hood were sewn down in the seams. Size SmallLoved it for our wizard of oz theme!..It fit perfectly. She is a size 7/8. My daughter was roaring the whole time...I love the fact that the legs aren't connected to the feet..They can fold up or just sit on top of her sneakers without dragging extra material on the floor..& I'm also glad it was a separate head piece instead of a hood..it was able to stay on her small headBottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

1.We love this custom and my son feels like Mufasa from Lion King. BUT!, if your kid has issue with sensory anything, it is unfortunate that the fur on the neck and the hat of this costume is so scratchy and now I have to use all the extra material to sew around the fur main and neck to get him to wear it. It will cost a bit more to be able to use it but it ran big for him to I have plenty of material to use. He let me take a picture then had to take the hat off immediately. It will be great!

2. It was great my 6 year old loved it, we sewed on the extra material on the outside and used it on the inside and he loves it and wears it all the time, even when it is not Halloween. My daughter is 7 years old and we bought the children's small - we had to return and get the medium - it fit too perfect in the small and I wanted her to get a couple of years use out of this costume. Anyway, she LOVES the costume and I'm going to have a hard time keeping it clean and fluffy until Halloween (it's August). If I can keep my 4 year old from living in this costume 24/7, it will be a small miracle. I sized up from an XS to a S after receiving the first one, and the return/exchange process could not have been easier. The only thing I dislike is that the paws don't have any finger or thumb holes...they are more like solid mittens. Wonderful, soft costume! I wasn't sure which size to get, so I ordered XL and it is baggy but looks SO CUTE that way!! No worries if you need to order a size or two up! I am using it for a production of The Wizard Of Oz and the boy couldn't be happier!Was this review helpful to you?
