Made by Us to satisfy the wild and roaming spirit of your little one, this costume was carefully crafted in our design studio to bring out the horse person in any child. The one-piece jumpsuit is crafted from cuddly brown fabric, sure to keep your kid warm while trick-or-treating or traipsing through the fields! There are black "hooves" on the feet and hands, and a hood that pulls up to transform your child's head into that of a regal brown horse. A black mane and tail add authentic detail to the outfit, as does your kid's great knowledge of equine behavior!

In this costume, you won't be able to tell your kids to quit horsin' around anymore, it'll be in their nature! But you'll love watching them gallop across the yard as the sun sets, living out their dream of becoming their very favorite animal. My son is very slim (about 3’9” and 40lbs) and the small is somewhat snug. The head doesn’t fit at all. I have detached the head from the body suit, removed the stuffing and lining, and it still isn’t fitting. I’m determined to figure out a way for this costume to work since he wants to be his school mascot, but I’m pretty frustrated.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Height 4ft | Weight 52 | Size MediumNot a fan. While it fits and my 7 year old loves it, it's terrifying in person. Something about the horse head is creepy. Other moms agree. Not only that the head doesn't stay on. The hood needs to be deeper. Luckily I read the measurements (even still they seemed odd) and ordered the Medium (8-10) for my average size 6yr old as it fits relatively well. The 6 (small) would have never fit. The costume does not look like the pictures as the mane and tail are fake wig hair, looks like a punk rocker wig vs the pictures online show more like fur, also mane and tail are really long. The hair is tangled and looks like the plastic hairs were teased in spots. As mentioned in other reviews, the head is so small I have to stretch and push the stuffing up to get it on my kiddos head then she can't move. And last, there are threads coming off the costume and the mane is not stitched on in spots. Unfortunately my kiddo is in love with it so I need to keep it.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

The hood is so small my kids head won't fit in it. The mane and tail are creepy doll hair and are horribly tangled, and not even sewed on in parts. If you still decide to get it, SIZE UP. My 3 year old who wears a 4t usually JUST fits into the size kids small which is for a 6 year old per the size chart. Size MediumIf it wasn't for the fact that my kiddo is obsessed with horses, I would've exchanged it for something completely different, and easily wearable. Sizing is way off and horse head has no give whatsoever. I had already exchanged the costume once for the fit.. had my kiddo try on bigger size when we recieved new one before Halloween. Body suit was baggy but workable, and it seemed like the the head would stay on. Nope...It's day of now, and I had to to try different hacks just to fit the horse head. Tried stitching a headband to it, hot glueing it to thin knit hat, but wound up having to cut the lining and take out the cushion...it's still pretty tight. Wish I tried it a few more times before the holiday. Sizing chart is not accurate. My daughter is a pretty true 7 and the size small does not fit. I would say it would fit a size 5-6 best. I order this for a 10-year-old who was to play a part of a horse in a play. She liked it so much because it was a full-body costume with a zip up the front. Okay so it looks really cute, until you put it on. The head part/hood is too shallow and wouldn’t fit on my child's head properly. Also the sizing is off. My kid wears a size 6/7 and according to the chart he would wear a small. Anyhow now I see he would need a medium.
