A Killer Costume in Every Sense
Why are orcas also known as killer whales? Is it because they have an absolutely killer look thanks to the black and white patterns on their skin? Actually, it's because sometimes they eat other whales, but we like our explanation better. Besides, orcas are mostly friendly. They love to splash and play in deep water, and they'd gladly accept an invitation to join you for Halloween - as soon as they can figure out how to use their flippers on land.
Product Details
Have a whale of a time in your exclusive Kid's Orca Costume this Halloween! The outfit consists of a long foam-backed tunic made of black and white polyester. A foam-backed fin protrudes from the center of the back and smaller fins are sewn on either side of the leg opening. The fin-shaped sleeves have slits near the tips to allow your hands to poke through. The attached hood features a mouth-shaped view port that's ringed with felt teeth, and the top is decorated with appliqued eyes.
Whale Watch
Have you heard the rumors? Someone said that a whale is supposed to show up here. Yes, here, on the mainland! Even if it's not anywhere near a body of water! The whale is a big fan of trick-or-treating and it's tired of doing it in the ocean, where all of the fish give out icky treats like jellied squid. (Gross.) If you do see the whale, please give it lots of candy. Maybe it will be persuaded to come back again next year!
