When we all heard about the "Goblin King," we all probably thought of a different kind of character. Perhaps we imagined something grimy and green, living in some disgusting subterranean cave. Probably stupid, slovenly, wearing tattered leathers that contrasted terribly with stolen gold. But, when we found our way through the mysterious Labyrinth and came upon the glorious vision of David Bowie, well... that was a life-changer!
Jareth redefines style, grace, magic, and majesty with his iconic look that is basically all of the 1980s blended down and concentrated into a single look! Can there really be anyone more alluring? More captivating than the Goblin King!? Well, whatever chance that anyone else had is completely defeated the minute he starts his Dance Magic! The power of the babe, Jareth, ensures that all attention is going to be direct right back to... him.
DESIGN & DETAILS
Of course, the true identity of the Goblin King is always up for grabs. Our faction of goblin designers have their hands on the goods and are delighted to offer you this officially licensed Labyrinth Jareth Costume. Begin with this long-sleeved shirt with the deepest of V-necks and flowing lightweight lapels. The vest is a black vinyl shoulder corset with exquisite details. The pants are tight male leggings with a high waist and skinny ankles. But, the real magic comes from the foam and elastic codpiece that channel the full Bowie might. Call on the full might of the Goblin King with a Jareth Wig and magical orb accessory and you won't even need to steal any babies!

The magic of Jareth, the Goblin King, leaves all in wonder and awe. Sure, he claims it is some kind of voodoo magic, but we all know the truth. Nobody can enact dance magic like that without a pretty enchanting codpiece. This Jareth Costume has it all!

Height 69 inches | Weight 226 | Size LargeThe double breasted leather Victorian waistcoat isn’t long enough, so if you watch the video, it doesn’t go all the way down to the gray tights like in the movie. It just looks awkward. There’s a chain that you can simply just remove which doesn’t add anything to the costume. It’s not in the movie at all, or in the magic dance scene.
This costume doesn’t come with a wig. You have to supply it yourself. There is also no necklace like in the movie. There are no boots or even cuffs to go over a pair of dress shoes or boots to make it look like you’re wearing the boots in the movie.
The pirate shirt that you get doesn’t have the sleeves styled so that they are artistically frayed like in the movie. You could use a pair of scissors or a craft knife to cut the pattern into them.
The tights are long and intended to go up to the double breasted leather victorian waistcoat, but even if you pull them up extremely tight, they don’t go all the way up to your mid back.

Height 5'9" | Weight 200 | Size LargeWe were so excited for this costume, but there were several parts to it that we were disappointed by. First, the shirt needs to be longer to adequately tuck into the tights that are supposed to be high waisted. It's material was pretty uncomfortable, but that's normal for most Halloween costumes. The other major issue were the pants themselves. While the shirt fit perfect, the pants were huge, but the "bulge" foam in the front, really just came off looking like an adult diaper because of how big the whole area of it was. We ended up purchasing separate leggings last minute from Amazon and just using the vest and shirt from this piece. This is an easy way to pull of being Jareth for Halloween and it served its purpose. Quality definitely was a little on the cheap end though, perfect for a night of trick or treating with the kids or an adult Halloween party. The tights are fantastic, the pattern is great and they fit well. the vest is very cool but hard to put on since you have to unlace it. I ended up cutting the connecting threads on the front of the vest and sewing on snaps instead.
