- Coat has stand-up collar and buttons down the front
- Coat has a large skull and crossbones printed on the hip

Um, did you just become a super elite pirate who mutinied his last captain to take command of the saltiest ship to be found and rule the seven seas with an iron fist and the uncanny ability to plunder enemy ships at will? Yes. Yes, you did. Because you had the foresight to pick up this Pirate Flag Captain men's costume!
You might not believe us, but yeah, that was our plan the whole time with this pirate costume! We did, in fact, design this costume right here in our own HalloweenCostumes.com studios, and while, yes, we are letting folks other than yourself order it, we're sure you're going to be the best dang pirate to be found when you wear it. Cause you're gonna have a pirate flag right on your jacket!
A really cool, innovative, and unique style if we may say so (way to go costume design team!) you've never seen a costume getup like this before. Striped pants and a white tunic shirt, along with two belts, make for a pretty traditional pirate style. But when you add the screen printed trench coat style jacket, well, that's when you become an elite captain! Arm yourself to the hilt from the armory of prop guns and swords that we have available, and you too will be ready to rule the high seas. Because, yeah, it's pretty much your destiny to become the Pirate Flag Captain!

Got the package in 3 days. The jacket is of great quality for a costume. Fits great. Pants and shirt fit perfectly. The belts are a little long. My wife got the women’s version and she loves it also. Can’t wait till the party.

This is a good value as a costume, for the sheer number of items in it. The stripey pants are made of a shiny satin-like material, but light enough to be comfortable even on a warm day. The top was better constructed than expected and could be used with many other costumes as well (Renaissance, Medieval, Regency, Fantasy, Steampunk, Pirate, Frontier, etc.) The headband seemed sturdy. The belt is probably the cheapest looking piece of the outfit, and most definitely a (pleather?) costume belt. The coat is by far the star of this ensemble. However, it's heavier than I expected, and likely to be very warm when worn. The Jolly Roger design on mine was mis-aligned and covered in grey spots (couldn't tell if it was a printing error or mildew spots, or what). If you live in a cooler/colder climate and are wearing this for Halloween or a late-Fall through early-Spring costume party, it should be plenty comfortable.
For the record, though this is a male costume, I'm a busty plus-sized woman and had it been a size Medium it would've looked great on me. Unfortunately, I need a pirate outfit for a party in the Caribbean and this is WAY too heavy for that, plus the issues with the coat as mentioned, so I returned it.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you? - Surprised at qualityBy Current Customer | September 29, 2023
