1st off, let me start out with my body type as I hope this will help others. I'm 5'11, 252lbs dad bod with some belly hangover. 36"-38" waste and wear a 2XLT shirt loosely.
After reading other reviews I ordered the 2X. It fit perfect for my body type. The quality was decent for a costume. Had no issues of ripping or tearing. The pants around the waste are big. You cant wear them at the waste like normal pants. I had to pull them up over my belly button. Fantastic looking costume. I'm 6'2" and 230. I wear a 38 long pants.im not a body builder. The jacket fits great and looks the part. The under shirt fits well but might be a little short if you upper torso is long. The pants are cool looking but not for tall or thin. I sewed a string on the inside to hold them up. The hat looks cool but is too small generally and won't stay on if you get the wig set . All in all this is an awesome costume! Height 6'3" | Size 7XI was extremely excited for this costume and when I tried it on, everything was off. The jacket fits, but it's extremely short. So is the shirt. I thought it'd be long enough, but it doesn't put into account that you may be taller as well. The pants are just BIG. No way of it sitting on your waist or anything. The only thing that was cool was the hat. Height 6' | Weight 250 | Size 2XI originally looked at the measurements provided for this and used a tailors tape measure to confirm... Based on reading the reviews on Regular sizes, and comparing my measurements to what the site offered, I went with a 3x - it was WAY TOO BIG... had to return it and repurchase the 2x (which, since I was returning/exchanging - the process was fairly easy...The 2x fit great... Yes, the hat does come out of whack and it is very difficult to "shape" like it says to since it is a hard felt... but let's be honest, you are wearing it one time for a costume party! The pants are still a little baggy and the "elastic" waist really doesn't "stretch - will need suspenders or a couple of clips to keep them up (I am a 38-40 waist depending on brand and these 2x pants like to slip down)... The Sleeveless shirt fits perfect... The jacket is also a little large, but gives good breathing room... I also bought the boots and Glasses to complete the look, but I hate wigs - so I did not go with that...
