Design & Details
This outfit is a plus size version of our Mrs. Potts costume. It starts with a white dress and pink accents that help recreate a teapot shape. It also features one gold sleeve that mimics the style of Mrs. Potts' handle. The costume also comes with a bonnet that's shaped like her lid. Finally, the costume has an attached pink bow belt and a shaping hoop for the skirt. It all comes together for a look that will have you ready to serenade Belle and the Beast. Little girls love the costume. Fit was larger than expected but I was very comfortable and would buy again. I am 5'7" and 320lb. I purchased a 5X. It fit great. The 5x could have fit a lady up to 340 or even 350lbs. The arms were long enough. The gold sleeve was really good for a fit but I felt that the right arm was a little snug but it was still good fit.
Was a little tricky getting the 2 tube's to fit good at first. Just open them and kind of straighten the tube's out before sliding into the rings. You may need to cut many thread strings hanging from the costume possibly. They were just the ends from the sews. I would give this costume 10 stars if it had pockets. They really need to add some. The purple ring piece fit good around my neck. I wore pink leggings and a white long sleeve top under it. White or pink long socks and my tennis shoes. The hat was a little hard to put on my head. I had to use a small band and make a small ponytail on the top with it and then slide the clips in. You can also use Bobby pins on the clips too, or in the elastic that is on the hat. Now to figure out how to wash it. I think it says hand wash but this costume is huge. Love that the zipper was long on the back. You could either step inside and pull it up or put the costume over your head to get in it. I didn't realize that the collar had them little velcro spots to attach to the costume so it wouldn't move or turn. He's, it is hard to try and sit down once on. I had to lift the two hoops up in the back to sit.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Height 5'10" | Weight 380 | Size 5XI bought this costume for a drag performance as Mrs. Potts. People loved the costume, and I got lots of compliments. It really worked out well for me. The reasons I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars are: (1) the costume was a little larger than anticipated, (2) I could not steam out wrinkles, (3) the zipper was tricky and kind of on the cheap side, and (4) the rings inside definitely need to some time to adjust from packing configuration to full circular configuration in order to give the full costume shape effect seen in photos - I didn't know this beforehand. Size 1XGreat costume. The top is a bit see through but nothing a white tank top won’t fix. The costume comes with two sets of tubes you slide inside the skirt to give it, it’s round shape. Make sure you put it together as soon as you get it so it has time to adjust. The costume is comfortable and easy to move around in. Got loads of compliments.
