Designed to capture every charming detail of Strawberry Shortcake's classic 1980's look. Featuring a whimsically styled dress and the essential accessories, from her signature bonnet to her candy-striped tights, this officially licensed costume is ready to satisfy the sweetest cravings!
Design & Details
This exclusive costume is crafted from 81% polyester and 19% cotton and offers comfort and enduring style. The pullover dress is easy to slip on and fastens at the back with a button and elastic loop. Elastic in the back waistband and wrists help the dress stay put. Meanwhile, the flowy balloon sleeves and circle skirt ensure you feel ready to twirl the night away!
The sewn-in apron, complete with embroidered patches and ruffles on the shoulder straps, captures Strawberry Shortcake's familiar whimsy and eliminates any worry of losing the essential accessory. A green band in place of apron strings, secures in the back with a hook-and-loop fastener fit with a perfectly tied bow. Bloomers with elastic cuffs add a bit of volume, while the striped tights provide a familiar candy-coloring.
The look wouldn't be complete without Strawberry Shortcake's bonnet. Luckily, this sweet style comes with a character-accurate version for fans to enjoy! Made from fabric with an all-over strawberry print, embroidered strawberry patch, and red ribbon band, the fiber-filled immediately brings the adorable accessory to life. Meanwhile, its satin lining and elastic band in the back ensure it stays in place for your dress-up adventures!

Overall the quality of this costume is great and it's super cute! Love that it's accurate to the original Strawberry Shortcake. Had to order one size larger to fit in the bust area. For that reason I wish the bow on the back was actually able to be tied tighter to cinch the waist in a little. The tights are nowhere near being plus sized! Couldn't pull them up past my knees! What good are standard size tights in a plus sized costume? They fit an 8 year old girl, albeit they're super long, but in no way will they fit a plus sized adult. Makes no darn sense.
