What's the Magic Word?
Nerdy Dennis Nedry gets a bit of a bad rap. Sure, he was lazy and arrogant and had a really, really messy desk. Sure, he was willing to steal precious dino DNA and sell it to the competition so that he could make thousands of dollars. And sure, he kind of unintentionally kicked off the whole Jurassic Park disaster by shutting off the park's power in the middle of a raging storm, resulting in several people's violent deaths.
But, that's only because he wasn't getting paid enough! If his job had a better salary, he'd never have felt compelled to smuggle DNA out in a shaving cream can. So really, it isn't his fault that all those bad things happened! It's his greedy boss's fault!

Okay, maybe Dennis Nedry is responsible for all the prehistoric chaos bursting out of the 1993 blockbuster. But that didn't stop him from being a fan favorite, and now you can bring that sense of geeky fun to your next costume party with this Plus Size Jurassic Park Dennis Nedry Costume. The costume comes with Dennis's signature yellow raincoat, hood, tropical-print shirt, black glasses frames and, of course, Jurassic Park employee badge. All you need is a can of shaving cream to complete the look! (Well, that and some pants, since the costume doesn't come with those. We highly recommend putting on pants before heading out to your costume party!)
Watch out for Dinos!

Height 5'8" | Size 2XI purchased a size 2XL for a costume party this past weekend. First, one star for the raincoat and one star for the eyeglasses/nametag. The coat will make you start sweating within a few minutes of wearing it but it is a great prop, and the glasses look almost real.
This costume does not come with pants, which I kind of understand since they're slacks.
The polo shirt is just plain terrible. The costume itself is based on a bigger character, so I can't understand how the shirt can be so incorrectly sized. I laid it over another 2XL polo I had, and the costume shirt is 2 inches shorter at the bottom. It was so short that if I bent at the hip, front or back, the bottom of the shirt would pop up and out of my pants. Im 5'8", imagine if I were taller! Since the raincoat was making me sweat, I couldn't use it to hide the whole party. I spent most of the party standing because of this issue.
At the end of the day, the constant tucking and standing took away from the fun of the night and I think the whole point of a costume is to be fun. Pretty true to the character. All the extras work too. It’s not perfect, like the shirt is different but no one cares if you show up to a party or a house in a raincoat glasses and a JP employee badge they’ll get it. Especially if you’re 300+ Lbs. Add some scars, eye patch and a prosthetic hand and you could be ‘Survivor Nedry’. When people ask just tell’em, “Small dinosaur, big meal. Great quality on the raincoat and the undershirt. I even received an extra name badge which was quite helpful. Over all...very happy with my purchase. I would have liked the shirt to be a little longer, but that's a small quibble.
