A Toast to the Roast
The Medieval Club is a classic scene. Folks are downing ale and tearing bread with their brawny hands as they sing bawdy tunes. Honestly, it sounds like a pretty good time to us but we're grateful that we've never had to smell it. And while we're not curious about a Medieval pub's smell, we are curious about the cuisine. We usually assumed the food in the dark ages consisted of legs of unflavored meat. Instead, the food at this time was heavily spiced with sweet, spicy, and sour flavors. The menu consisted of wild dishes like pork pudding cooked in a cucumber or piglet stuffed with bread pudding. Basically, the best Medieval cuisine consisted of food stuffed into other types of food. Sounds pretty good to us! Now, we won't make you try a platter of lampreys but you can get those Medieval pub vibes when you're rocking this pub wench costume.
Details & Design
This Made by Us Pub Wench costume has a simple, high-quality design that you'll love wearing to your local Ren Faire! The look has a lovely top with a faux corset design and full billowy sleeves. The square neckline is trimmed with creamy ruffles for an old-fashioned look. The costume zips up the back and is finished off with an aproned brown skirt that can be tied up on one side to let you cool off as you bustle around the tavern.
