Drafting New Players
After the last time that the Monstars met their defeat at the hands of the Tune Squad, they've realized that they need to bulk up their team a bit. They're recruiting new members of every shape and size from humans, toons, and other monsters, too! We're not sure when the tryouts are beginning. All you need is a general knowledge of the game, a pretty good grasp on cartoon physics, and some serious enthusiasm (which we know you have in droves). The last step is to gear up and get ready to play ball!

Fortunately, the gearing up process is pretty easy. Grab any pair of shorts you might like and then throw on this officially licensed Space Jam Monstars Jersey. This comfy tank has the iconic imagery of the Monsters logo on the front and some of your favorite teammates on the back. We can't promise it will let you bend Earth physics to your will, of course. That just takes practice!
A Monstrous Augmentation
While this Space Jam Jersey is great for humans, we find it is even better when combining it with your existing monster Halloween costume. From werewolves and bigfeet to mummies and swamp monsters, wear this jersey on top of your costume and you add whole layers of story to your look!

Height 5'8 | Size SmallFirst, let me say that I really love the vibrant colors and overall quality of this jersey. It's cut is the same as the Tune Squad Bugs jersey that I picked up too. The major difference is the way in which the print is applied to the material. With the Tune Squad jersey, the graphics are more screen printed, where the ink is injected into the material. This increases overall durability and infuses the color into the material. This top, by contrast, has graphics applied by heat transfer, so it's a sticker on material approach. The result is more vibrant colors, but the durability is dramatically reduced and requires very special care and handling.
When I took it out of the package, there was tissue paper in the folds to protect the graphics, but they had gotten a little sticky from the heat and actually were somewhat stuck to the tissue paper! I had to very very very carefully work the tissue paper off, but that alone made me fear even wearing it because I have no idea how it'll handle being washed. It certainly can NOT be put in the dryer. Really, neither this nor the Tune Squad jersey should ever find themselves in a dryer, but still, the point is that the graphics on this one are a lot more fragile despite being more vibrant.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
