Sustainable Costumes

It's fun to say, "here for a good time, not a long time." But it's not always true. Lots of us want a good time and a long time. Luckily, sustainability efforts never cease and our costume collection is joining the mission to help ensure we all can enjoy long-lasting fun in whatever place we call home.
HalloweenCostumes.com started sustainable goals started small. Reduce the packaging and used recycled materials within the packaging. It's grown from there, but reduce, reuse, and recycle remains at the core of our efforts. Now, it's incorporated into the very costumes you love! And the collection is growing!
Our Dr. Seuss Lorax costume seemed like a clever place to start when incorporating sustainable materials into our product design. After all, the Lorax speaks for the trees! His story taught (and continues to teach) many of us the value of not only protecting but renewing the world around us. This officially licensed costume is a step toward a world where Bar-ba-loots, Truffula trees, Swomee Swans, and Humming fish would be happy to live.
If you think of yourself as someone to stand on the Lorax's Unless platform, you'll be happy to know, the Lorax isn't where our sustainability story ends. Alongside the cozy Lorax costume and playful Lorax costume hats, you'll find a growing list of sustainable styles for kids and adults.
Kid wants to be a zombie cheerleader? Like the zombie they're pretending to be, this costume reuses what it started with. Polyester made from recycled materials means less was taken from fresh sources. A good thing! After all, a great way to reduce waste is to use what you've got—zombie or otherwise!
The magic keeps flowing in our charming Twilight Twinkle Witch costume for toddlers. It's so cute, you won't believe it's made from more recycled materials. Just like available Disney costumes! Bring classics like The Little Mermaid and Toy Story to life with materials that promise to create long-lasting memories whether they stay with your kid or get handed down.
Looking for sustainable fun for your own costume collection? Lean into Mother Earth-loving vibes with our Adult Hippie Poncho Costume. Despite its bold tie-dye pattern, this thoughtful option promises versatility and thus endless sustainability! Style countless 70's costumes with the single piece, its headband, and your own wardrobe.
Or grab something that offers sustainable frights, like our Chuckles the Clown costume. Each piece features recycled materials, ensuring the plastic mask isn't single use and the polyester outfit is up for more than one wear.
