Size 4TMy son is 3.5yrs old and normally fits a 3T perfectly, and fits a size 4T with room to grow.
We ordered him a 4T and the body fits him perfect…the head is WAY TOO SMALL. Super bummed! The costume seems good quality and is super soft. We are keeping the 4T cause the body fit is great…and just ordered a size XS in kids (says online fits 5-6yr olds). Really hoping the kids XS head fits him cause he’s really set on wearing this Dino costume.
I would not recommend this costume unless you are willing and able to buy 2 separate sizes to get the right fit. I’m doing this cause my son is a costume wearing kid and basically lives in his costumes. Size 2THeadpiece was WAY too small. I even cut it open in back and under the chin. Still no go. Got a t2 for thin/average size boy usually wears 18m-2t.Ran slightly short in arms and body with nothing under. But the headpiece wouldn't go on even the one year old. Had to get a different toy mask to use costume. I’m really bummed that I didn’t read the reviews prior to ordering this costume! The way the head piece is manufactured it couldn’t fit a small baby. It seems to be defective and definitely doesn’t align with the size of the Costume! I would give 0 stars if possible. The body is great, but the tears about the head are not worth it! My son's head is in the 2nd percentile for age. He can still wear 18-24 month hats and this stupid head would not go over his head. The price was too much for what we received. The head piece would not go past his forehead and the pants looked to go just past his knees. We ordered a 4T and sent the 2T back. When we got the 4T in the jumpsuit part fit great but the head piece still didn’t fit. Height 35 inches | Weight 35 pounds | Size 4TProduct is high quality and size chart was helpful for everything but the portion that goes on the child's head which was not a part of the size chart. When discussing with Customer Service (very nice and informative), they said that the same head is used for all sizes from 18 month to 4T. That is obviously a significant age gap. My son just turned 4 and is in the 30th percentile for his age, and he couldn't even get this over his head. I ordered a 4T for my 3 year old. The suit fit great but the head is way too small. It won't even go over his face.
