Kindred Critters
When parents pick a woodland theme for the nursery, they typically imagine one of the animals representing their baby: spotted fawns with wobbly legs, playful foxes with big ears and funny voices, or raccoons with clever snack-sneaking ways. As babies grow, they do wobble through first steps, play with energy no one can compete with, and develop huge appetites on occasion.
But kids aren't bashful deer, feisty foxes, or even mischievous raccoons. Toddlers are squirrels! The little woodland rascal combines all three traits of the favorite forest critters (plus a short attention span) into one beyond-charming character. Our exclusive Toddler Scampering Squirrel Costume is just the natural evolution of the woodland theme!
Design & Details
This Made By Us toddler costume starts with a simple hooded jumpsuit made from 100% polyester velour fabric. The super-soft jumpsuit features rib-knit wrist and ankle cuffs to help it stay in place while your little one plays. Meanwhile, a zipper down the center front offers quick and easy dressing, so playtime isn’t slowed down for long.
Of course, the details are what turn this comfy jumpsuit into a sweet little squirrel. White insets on the hood and front of the jumpsuit give the costume jumpsuit a soft belly and contrasting spots for the embroidered eyes to go. A matching embroidered nose and faux fur ears with a white inner lining complete the hood.
Then there’s the quintessential squirrel tail. Crafted from shaggy faux fur and fiber-filling this big bushy tail is the perfect finishing touch to the costume. And thanks to the clever addition of a button on the back of the jumpsuit and elastic loop toward the top of the tail, it’ll stay up and perky whether your kiddo is chasing real squirrels through the yard or trick-or-treating.

Height 42 inches | Weight 45 lbs | Size 4T4 year old loves it. She is 42 inches but 4T fit great and she loves it. She had me take out the scratchy tag but after that it’s soft and comfy. I wish the huge fluffy tail had 1 more attachment button so it would stay in place a little better but it’s still adorable.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you?
