Being dreadful is one thing, but being delightfully dreadful, well, that's another thing all together. It's something that those low-class zombies will just never get and it's something werewolves are just to wild to understand. Of course, being a vampire, you should understand the balance of elegance and terrifying nocturnal activity that it requires to be a dreadful, but delightfully so. The first step (aside from being afflicted with the curse of vampirism), is to wear the right outfit, that both exudes regal status AND makes mortals just a little bit more afraid of you.
Introducing this Delightfully Dreadful Vampiress costume, designed for female vampires with a taste for dread and maybe blood. The costume infuses your style with vampirism using a blood-red color jacket that buttons in the front. A black lace dickey helps push the dark look and it even comes with an attached collar, since no vampire would dare walk into the moonlight without a high collar (just ask Dracula about that one). Put the finishing touch on the ensemble, to turn you into something straight from a Gothic horror novel from the 19th century. Of course, we have to say, we don't actually advocate the drinking of any blood, no matter how much your vampiric desires take hold of you while wearing this costume. Instead, we recommend just taking a few sips of a nice Merlot. (It tastes way better and you won't have to hurt anyone at the party).

As costumes are not made like regular clothes, they are more delicate. Most of the time there's a tag with care instructions, otherwise, we recommend hand washing or spot cleaning and hanging it to dry. Please do not iron, instead, you would want to steam out wrinkles.Reviews

Height 5'3" | Weight 145 | Size MediumThis costume was extremely comfortable and well made. It looked GREAT and I even won the best costume contest!
I initially ordered the small, but decided to order a medium since I was right on the "edge" of the measurements given. The jacket was just a bit too tight with 35" bust measurements for the size small, although I could've "managed" it if the Medium didn't arrive in time. The skirts were a bit long, on both sizes, I'm 5'4", so I just pulled them up and no one noticed. In fact, I hardly noticed. I also wore heels to accommodate the length. Both the jacket and skirt in the size small easily accommodated my 40 inch hips.
I added: an antique broach, lace gloves, black and rhinestone chandelier earrings, vampire teeth, fake blood, eye-lashes, whitening make-up and glitter eye shadow (to face as well.) Height 5’7” | Weight 135 | Size SmallI received a lot of compliments when I wore this costume to a Halloween party. It fits well and the quality is pretty good. You might need to iron the jacket but make sure you use a low setting and turn it inside out! I made the mistake of ironing the red side of the jacket and as soon as I put the iron on it, it left the iron imprint. Nobody could tell my mistake and people loved it and I especially love the quality of the skirt. I'm so used to ordering online and getting cheaply made costumes. This feels like I got what I paid for. The skirt is nice and heavy which was a pleasant surprise. Maybe not the best for shorter people. I'm 5ft 7 and the skirt was almost brushing the ground. Very beautiful. The jacket is beautiful. I understand that I am smaller than the sizing chart recommends for the Small, But even at a Small, this fits more like a Medium and will require more alteration than anticipated. Also, the elastic straps that secure the toggle buttons snapped the first time I tried on the coat. No piece of this costume has a lining, and all the inner seams are exposed, so it makes the costume very scratchy and uncomfortable. I would not recommend planning to wear this costume for more than an hour, maximum; it is just that uncomfortable. I love this costume. I purchased not only for the vampire costume but to also use as a period piece for theatricals. So for me it was multi purpose and at a great price. Quality is great as well! I am 5'9", 34, 25, 37 and a small fit nice.
