WHERE THE COLOR COMES FROM
If you're trying to stand out and gleam in color that nobody else can possibly match, there's only one place to go. Rainbow Land is literally where it all comes from, mined out of the caves by quirky Sprites and spread throughout the world on the back of a pegasus by the chief detective and color-spreader, herself, Rainbow Brite. Thanks to her magical belt and a conjured rainbow of energy, we all get to live in a world where we can even ask why the sky is blue!
Now, we're not precisely sure where Rainbow Land is located. We suspected it might be somewhere between the cloud kingdom that a certain leaping plumber visits on occasion or perhaps the domain of the cuddly teddy bears that also fire off rainbows to ensure that cheer is spread across the world. If only we could get a hold of the gal who is in charge and maybe she can help us get our hands on that extra colorful blasts to ensure that our looks literally shine!
DESIGN & DETAILS
Until we're ready to tackle the source of all color, we can still ensure that you're feeling like a true rainbow wielder with this officially licensed Rainbow Brite Costume. This exclusive look features a short blue dress with high shoulders, a V-neck, and rainbow sleeves as well as an embroidered rainbow belt and suspender combo. The leg warmers match the sleeves and have a top border of white fur. The fingerless gloves feature a yellow star embroidery and the choker is bright yellow with red printed stars that match the neckline of the dress. Finish off with a bright purple hair bow and you'll find that all the colors are yours to bare!

I almost never write reviews, but I had the most fun dressing up as Rainbow Brite for Halloween! I’m 5’6”, weigh 185 lbs, and ordered XL. I am always leery about ordering online, but this costume ended up fitting great! It was actually a little roomy, so if you’re 15-20lbs heavier, then I think it would still fit comfortably. I also highly recommend ordering the Twink purse, since it made the costume complete. The quality is very sturdy too. I usually get super hot, but this fabric was breathable and wasn’t itchy. Height 5’6” | Weight 125 | Size SmallBetter quality than I imagined. The shape was really cute. With it coming up on the sides, it was a little short, but I planned on leggings anyhow. If anyone has bigger calves, the leg warmers would be tight just an fyi.

So many compliments! Height 5'4 | Weight 170 | Size X-LargeIt fit great, even a little larger but that is always a good surprise. It's not thin like so many normal costumes. It turned out super cute! I didn't wear the boot covers because I didn't have the right shoes so I chose to wear knee high socks. Based on the sizing chart, a large should have fit, however I ordered an XL and it is too tight in the bust area and does not cover the bottom of my booty. I got the large because I felt like the medium was going to be a bit snug as the waist size is 5 inches in difference and I am just under for the medium. But feel like the medium would have fit. The large is a little big however nothing I can’t pin and make look like it was made for me. I got the purse to go with and really completes the look.

Well made costume very true to the Original Rainbow Brite Outfit. The leg warmers were perfect for the Midwest cold for an evening of Halloween Trick Or Treating w the Kids!
