Details and Design
This authentic yet affordable costume comes with everything you need to recreate the movie’s main character (and total ringer) in no time! The twill short-sleeved shirtwaist dress has off-center buttons in the front and belt loops at the waist for a flattering look. The embroidered patches ironed onto the bodice and left sleeve let everyone know which team you play for. The details are what really set this costume apart. The red canvas ball cap has an embroidered ‘R’ on it, no flimsy thing—you could wear it even when you aren’t in costume. The red knit knee-high socks protect your shins while you make your way around the bases and the red faux leather belt has a silver-tone metal buckle that adds a fabulous finishing touch.

The Dottie dress is made of a very sturdy 100% polyester twill fabric. It is not forgiving. When in doubt, I would suggest sizing up.Reviews

Height 5’4” | Weight 140 | Size LargeThe costume is as expected in the photos but if you expect it to have ANY sort of give while wearing it, don’t. I am normally a medium and the top of the dress fit so tight in the arms and bust that I needed a L just to get it on my body. And I’m only 140#. Very well made! I read other reviews that said it was well made but I'm still surprised at how well made it is. Use your measurements. I normally wear a small but ordered up to a medium. Fits perfectly. Only need to add some holes to the belt which was a little large for me. Hat fit great and socks are well made. I am 5'5" 160lbs 36C, I ordered a large. The costume fits, but barely. The bust area is tight and the shoulders a little snug. I am keeping since it is for a Halloween party and I will be wearing it for just a few hours. If it was for an all-day event, such as work, I would definitely reorder and get a XL. The costume is very well made, heavy material. The socks came right at me knees and not over the top of my knees like some reviews stated. The only things we didn’t like is that the front patch says league of their own instead of Rockford peaches. and the shoulders are a bit tight, no way you could really play baseball in this haha. The only recommendation I have is SIZE up!!! I measured us all before ordering and I think I should have gone medium for myself in the chest (and I have a small chest 34B) so if you are similar height and weight to me but bigger bust definitely size up! This costume is overall, pretty sturdy and I will feel cute wearing it, but there is absolutely no stretch!
My measurements are 1" less than the size large and while it fits, the arms are quite tight and I feel a little bit like Chris Farley in David Spade's "Tommy Boy" jacket! I have a bit of gaping at the chest even with just a sports bra on, but I plan to use a safety pin to close the gap and just won't have much range of motion....worse things! The socks are SUPER long, but I'm using this as an advantage to bunch them down like leg warmers in the 'deluxe' costume. I also ordered patches from Etsy that actually say "Rockford Peaches" because "A league of Their Own" is not the team name - face palm. This costume received SO many compliments that I couldn't believe it! My daughters wore these outfits (one is 17 the other is 3) and were matching Rockford Peaches! Both looked so great in it and they were not flimsy or thin. They were really great quality and the hat and socks were so perfect. I bought 2 baseball bats for them and they really looked the part.
I will absolutely order from them again!

My daughter looks like she stepped right out of the movie. It's perfect and looks just as shown. It's a little big on her, but I decided to err on the side of ordering too big, bc now if it's cold, she can wear clothing underneath. If it's not cold, she can just cinch the belt a little tighter and it looks great.
