When you’re considering your options for a fuzzy animal costume, you would probably think of creatures like dogs, bunnies, and bears before you would think of being a gorilla. We often see gorillas in movies and pop culture as scary and threatening instead of cute and cuddly. And if they’re not the villain of the story, they’re probably some type of comic relief. We think that gorillas deserve to be the good guys sometimes. After all, they’re cute furry animals, too!

If you’re looking for a costume that will make you feel confident and cozy, you might like this Plus Size Positively Primate Gorilla Costume! The jacket is made of soft black faux fur, and it has a pocket on the front so you can take some bananas with you everywhere you go. The hood has an embroidered gorilla face on the front, so you won’t even have to mess with makeup to give yourself the primate look (unless, of course, you want to add your own flair). The hood also features two gray ears as a finishing detail. You can add your own legwear and shoes to customize this outfit even more! Then, find a friend to dress as a banana and you’ll have a great couple’s costume ready to go. Or if you have a larger group, build a whole zoo exhibit with our collection of animal costumes.

Overall the costume is good. The hood fits a little tight. But the elastic in the bottom is old and snapped and broke every time I moved.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
