Not What They Seem
Disney's Beauty and the Beast reminds us not to judge a book by its cover, especially when it comes to people. Everyone in Belle's little town thought that her father was crazy. They also treated Gaston like a prince and the Beast like a monster. However, they had it all wrong!
Gaston turned out to be the monster, the Beast turned out to be a prince, and Maurice turned out to be right. The villagers might have been correct in what they thought of Belle, though. They said she was nothing like the rest of them, and that was true. She was meant to be with Prince Adam, and we think she fits in much better at the castle!

This dress is fantastic, it’s very much what you’d want if you’re doing an adult themed beauty and the beast wedding or costume party. The lower half does puff out so you don’t need to worry about an under piece to make it do that. Height 5’6” | Weight 300 | Size 4XTo begin, this dress is enormous. It comes with built in hoops and petticoat so this dress will take up a lot of space. I loved the ball gown look as it was very screen accurate and drop-dead gorgeous. The gloves included at actual, genuine plus size opera gloves. I went to a convention in the Belle dress and could not get more than 5 steps without a compliment being thrown in my direction or being asked for a picture. If you love big, glam, gaudy, and being the center of attention, this dress was made for you. The dress fit like a glove and was super secure for wearing 18 hours at a convention all day. It’s beautiful, but I can’t zip it up, so too small I am usually a 3x and this is smaller than average. Not sure I will be buying a bigger size, just not my favorite costume in general.Was this review helpful to you?

This costume is spellbinding. I feel like a Disney princess is a dream come true. I always wanted to be Bell, but it was never possible as a child because either the costumes were too expensive or I was too big for my size. Height 5"9 | Weight 240 | Size 3XI bought a size 4x I probably could have done a 3x. Nothing a few quick stitches can't fix. I'm 5"9 and wear a size 22 top and 18 long bottoms. The only suggestion I would make with any of these costumes is a built in bra for the ballgowns. I love the hoop skirt being built in. It's not overtly heavy to wear. My son wanted Beauty and the Beast as a theme this year. He's the Beast and my sister is Mrs.Potts. Thank goodness for this site or I would have been out of luck. Size 3XI honestly cried with excitement when I opened the box and saw this dress. It was beyond what I could ever have imagined for a costume dress. The quality is amazing and the petite coat and built in ring was an added surprise - I was blown away! I had so many compliments on the night of my party. Height 5'7" | Weight 220lbs | Size 3XIf you're like me you are very hesitant to buy Halloween costumes online. They might be made too big, too small, or just not look like the picture in the slightest. This is NOT one of those times. I've been obsessed with Beauty and the Beast since I was a child and I tell you this dress is a dream come true. I'm a 5'7" woman, 220lbs and pretty wide shoulders this dress fits pretty good. I could have ordered one size smaller (2x), (I ordered 3X) But that is not a fault to the website that fault is on me. (I was worried it would run small, IT DOES NOT! It's a pretty EXACT SIZE! Overall I give this costume 10/10! Definitely will buy from HalloweenCostumes.com again! And SOON!!! (ALSO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY A HOOP SKIRT. Height 6'5 | Weight 340 | Size 5XFirst off- I'm a 6'5 340LB Man and this fit PERFECT. I have a 56" gut and the 5x was perfect fit. I wore this for 6 hours at an outdoor event and it held up amazingly. Not too heavy. The costume was a HIT! Very well made for the price.
