Woodland Witch Costume for Women

To start off, in the following pictures I'm 2nd trimester pregnant. I am 5 foot 9, around 250 pounds here. Im comfortable in a mens Xl, but usually wear a womens 2x or 3x depending on brand. To start, the first part you put on is a Brown dress with long gauze like ribbons that have been stitched directly to the straps at the front. The dress is very thin (which i expected) and does have a little stretch. The part i was NOT expecting was the thigh slits go all the way up to nearly half way up my hips. If i had pressed the top of the slit flat, you would see the crease where my groin and thigh meet. Second part of the costume is a nice crochet over dress. It does not have any stretch, but because its like fishnet it falls where it needs to nicely. Here's the part where my review goes downhill. The belt, i immediately had to modify. Id assume that even someone who is wearing a size Large would have to add some length to the belt to help it be comfortable on your waist/ hips. It had 6 total gauze like ribbons on it and overall looks nice, but it person the long cream colored strips don't seem to make sense as to what they are supposed to be other than a decorative choice on an otherwise plain outfit. They also include a very very long thin faux fur cream colored scarf for draping around your shoulders. If I hadn't been pregnant, or maybe as tall as i am, it probably would fit a little better. (I live in Florida and wanted something airy and cool to wear for walking a lot) but Honestly, the model absolutely makes this costume. She has the perfect proportions to make this costume look better than what i could do. I will probably end up using the brown dress itself as a slip or lingerie underneath something in the future. Overall, i took a chance this time and was disappointed, but will give it a try after the baby to see if it feels better.
