Very disappointed with this costume. I have been ordering costumes from Halloweencostumes.com for 10 + years. In the past I've purchased a mail man, UPS, Firefighter, Sheriff, and other costumes for my son from this site. I've always been satisfied with the quality. This year I ordered the Child SWAT costume for my son. It did not come with the shoe/boot covers as stated in the description. The costume was very poor quality. The accessories would not stay on the vest and after bending over twice the seams in the butt starting coming apart. I would not recommend buying this costume.Was this review helpful to you?

The Velcro tabs that are glued to the different plastic toys on the vest pull off. It is not a matter of the Velcro not working but instead the glue that holds the Velcro to each toy device doesn’t work. I even tried using krazy glue and Elmer’s glue but neither worked. I think it might be because of what the plastic is made of. All of the pieces fell off before the costume could even be used which upset our son.Was this review helpful to you?Monster Responds...Hello and thank you for your input on the costume. My 8-year-old loves it, but it runs VERY SMALL! He normally wears a size 7 or 8, so we ordered the medium (8-10). It's tight in the groin area, so he will wear black athletic pants over the bottom part of this costume. My son really likes the vest with all of the stuff attached to it. SWAT lettering is lime green on both vest and helmet, not white like shown in pic. Luckily my son doesn't mind too much. Also, not sure if gun was supposed to be included but it wasn't in our pkg.Was this review helpful to you?
