I needed a last minute costume idea and I found it in this lovely cape! The quality of this cape is impressive. Nothing cheap or thin about it. It needed no ironing out of the package. This cape was exactly what I wanted - soft, nice weight and length, and the stars are a lovely touch. My only complaint is that the neck fabric gives too much so it sits too low/slides to the side. It’s almost a stretchy velvet if that makes sense? This is a beautiful cape--the dark blue velvet surprised me with its thickness and drape, and it's cozy too. The silvery star overlay is a bit thin and stiff, but it pairs nicely with the velvet to create a stunning look. This is made so well and packaged in a way that I will do very little ironing on it. I really love this cape. I will wear it to a luncheon on Halloween for 15 little head start kids.
