October 2016 may be dubbed Harleyween, but that doesn’t make us want to dress as her any less this year! It’s no wonder she’s so popular among cosplayers and costume fans – Margot Robbie’s portrayal of the supervillain was the best part of Suicide Squad this August, and the character has been a fan favorite since her first appearance in Batman: The Animated Series in 1992. However, while we think there is nothing wrong with being another Harley at your Halloween party (the more the merrier, puddin’!), we do suggest putting your own twist on it. That’s why for this year, we’ve created an alternate Suicide Squad costume featuring her look from inside the prison: orange jumpsuit, romance novel, and tea cup all included. See below for our full DIY tutorial!

After debuting in early 2015 off-Broadway and transferring to Broadway in August 2015, the hit musical won 11 Tony Awards, a Pulitzer Prize, a Grammy Award, and received an invitation to the White House to perform for President Obama in 2016. It has continued to dazzle audiences on Broadway in Chicago, London, and San Francisco, even going as far as stages for international audiences! We hope these extra productions will bring the ticket price down from the over $1,000 it had been fetching. In the meantime, though, here are some costume guides to help you bring the musical to your hometown for Halloween. Creating Hamilton Halloween costumes will require a bit of ingenuity. Our DIY costume guide draws from a number of other seemingly unrelated offerings, combining Halloween costumes you’ll never think could go together. The end result will be something truly unique. Now do Lin-Manuel Miranda proud and start crafting your Hamilton cosplay! There are a million Broadway costumes we haven't made, but just you wait...

The film Jurassic World was kind of a big deal this year, since, you know, it set the all-time record for highest box office sales worldwide and all. BUT. Let's be honest: the best parts of Jurassic World were any nostalgic throwbacks and references to the film that started it all...Jurassic Park! JW is shiny and new, but every character, scene, and line of JP is, and forever will be, classic. If you want to be trendy, go ahead and dress as Owen Grady this year. But if you seek to be hailed a "Halloween hero" by fellow late 80s/early 90s babies this Halloween weekend, go with a classic character from Jurassic Park.
Since we at HalloweenCostumes.com love a challenge, we didn't opt for the black leather clad Dr. Malcolm, the jeans and khaki sporting Dr. Grant, or even the white-suited straw-hatted John Hammond. The Jurassic Park costume that we chose to recreate were two costumes worn by the Barbasol blundering, vending machine...
