The Best Mardi Gras and Carnival Costumes for Your Celebration

Celebrations where people prepare all year long are few and far between. Most people wait to shop for Christmas until Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Americans flock to see the fireworks on the 4th of July and maybe throw a barbeque or two. Many people also wait for the month before Halloween to start getting their Halloween costumes. But Carnival is a big deal, and many people work on building floats, making costumes and practicing their dances and parade marches in the off-season. Carnival and Mardi Gras celebrations are simply spectacular, and with that amount of preparation, it's no wonder why! People flock to watch these festivities from around the world, too. If you're in the market for a Carnival costume or Mardi Gras costume to wear to one of these events or a similarly-themed party, check out these costume ideas for different Carnival celebrations around the world!

Halloween Costumes for Work

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who LOVE Halloween festivities at work, and those who—gasp!—don't. If you're in the "pro" column, it's likely because you dig the camaraderie and change of pace. Or you're a Halloween freak like us! We love All Hallow's Eve and celebrate it anywhere we can, especially at work. We're a costume company, after all—it's not just welcomed, it's expected! The other side of the coin isn't just for buzzkills and party-poopers, though. It's where stockbrokers, doctors, and other more serious jobs reside. But they have a point. We took a poll at HC's headquarters and only two people said they'd be okay with a clown driving their ambulance. Still, it's not an open-and-shut case.
